Unlike the latest synthesizers, workstations and software packs, drawbar organs are rarely ever overhauled in terms of their aesthetics. The Crumar MOJO 61-LTD is a textbook example of this conservative approach. No displays, no menu-diving, none of those gimmicks — this drawbar keyboard serves the same purpose as its predecessors from the 1970s, which is not to say that, under the hood, it hasn't been crammed with the latest tech.

The Sound of the MOJO 61-LTD

This isn't a keyboard loaded with your bread-and-butter sounds like violins, guitars, choirs, brass and wind instruments. The MOJO61 is focussed on two sounds only: organs and electric pianos. More specifically, it harnesses the sound of GSi VB3-II tonewheels complete with rotary speaker simulation, the Farfisa Compact Deluxe, the Vox Continental, the Rhodes, the Wurlitzer, and more. To support all of that legendary sound, you get fully matching amps, a tremolo/panner effect and a stereo chorus/phaser effect.

Other Features

Besides a host of functions and nine inspiring drawbars, the Crumar MOJO 61-LTD features waterfall keys, which have more rounded edges than keyboard and piano keys. This makes slides a lot easier on the fingers. So you can connect your phone, tablet, laptop or computer and access in-depth settings via a web-based companion app, this part old-school, part modern instrument comes finished with a WiFi antenna.
